Pamela Hamilton and Daughter Jennifer Sanders Killed in Wreck with Tractor-Trailer

A terrible accident involving a tractor-trailer has resulted in the death of Pamela Hamilton and her daughter Jennifer Sanders.  Mrs. Sanders husband Billy Ray Sanders and infant daughter were also seriously injured.

The accident happened on Thursday afternoon on U.S. Highway 76 near Fair Bluff.  Apparently, the car driven by Mrs. Hamilton had slowed to turn into the Sanders’ home when the tractor tractor was about to pass the Hamilton car.  As the Hamilton car attempted to turn left, the tractor trailer slammed into the side of the car.  Based on reports, there are no charges expected.

This wreck is a terrible tragedy.  In a wreck such as this, there are many unanswered questions such as whether Mrs. Hamilton had her turn signal on and whether the truck driver should have anticipated that Mrs. Hamilton was getting ready to turn and, therefore, should not have attempted to pass.  Hopefully, the family of the victims can eventually find peace regarding this terrible accident.
