Greenville, North Carolina Accident Causes One Death and Injuries to Ohio Man David Yoakem

A terrible accident on Wednesday on Highway 43 south of Greenville has resulted in one death and serious injuries to a man from Ohio.

The accident apparently happened when a man from New Bern crossed the center line and hit a truck driven by David Yoakem from Ohio.  Mr. Yoakem’s truck ended up in a ditch and caught fire but passersby were able to pull him from the wreckage.  Unfortunately, the gentlemen from New Bern was killed in the wreck.
