Greenville Hit-And-Run Driver Hits Minnetta Hamilton and Three Children Causing Serious Injuries

A terrible accident early Sunday morning on Memorial Drive in Greenville has resulted in serious injuries to a woman and three children.

The accident apparently happened when family members who had gathered in Greenville for a family reunion were crossing Memorial Drive after swimming in a hotel pool.  As the four crossed Memorial, a light colored sedan hit them and sped off.  The adult, Minneta Hamilton, was taken to Vidant Medical Center along with the three injured kids.  Two of the kids have undergone surgery.
