Weldon, North Carolina Pedestrian Killed in Car Accident

A woman pedestrian in Weldon, North Carolina was killed early Friday morning as she walked in the center turn lane of Country Club Road.

Apparently, the driver of the car moved into the passing lane to pass a slower car and struck the pedestrian.  Police are still investigating the accident.  Click here for more.
