Eden, North Carolina Wreck Claims One Life and Causes Several Injuries

A terrible wreck on Friday afternoon in Eden, North Carolina has resulted in the death of one person and several injuries to others.

The wreck apparently happened at the intersection of Meadow Road and Pierce Street and involved a Pontiac and an GMC truck.  As a result of the collision, the GMC truck was on its side and the Pontiac slammed against a utility pole.  Police are still investigating the wreck.
