New Bern, North Carolina Pedestrian Struck by SUV

A New Bern man was struck by an SUV as he crossed Glenburnie Road on Tuesday afternoon.

The gentlemen, John Monette, was hit near the Bojangles restaurant near Brunswick Drive.  The accident is apparently under investigation.  Mr. Monette was airlifted to Greenville for treatment of his injuries.
