Burlington, North Carolina Pedestrian Struck By Motorist

On Tuesday in Burlington, North Carolina a pedestrian was hit while walking across South Mebane Street on Webb Avenue.

The pedestrian, Stephen Saunders, was hit when a car driven by Tara Gates made a right turn and hit Mr. Saunders as he was crossing the street.  According to reports, Ms. Gates did not look both ways before turning and Ms. Gates had a red light at the time.  Noentheless, the article indicates that Ms. Gates was not charged.
