Woman Checking Cell Phone GPS Kills Burlington, North Carolina Pedestrian

A terrible wreck on Wednesday has resulted in the death of a pedestrian near Burlington, North Carolina. 

The wreck apparently happened when Rebecca Smith of Burlington was looking at her cell phone GPS and she hit a pedestrian named Kenneth Rogers.  Mr. Rogers was walking along Burch Ridge Road when he was hit.  Tragically, Mr. Rogers did not survive the accident.  Ms. Smith has been charged in the wreck.
