Wreck Near Asheboro, North Carolina Causes Serious Injuries

A serious wreck near Asheboro, North Carolina on Highway 64 has resulted in three people being airlifted to the hospital.

The wreck apparently happened when a blac car headed eastbound on Highway 64 rear-ended a white van also headed eastbound.  The force of the impact forced the van off the road and over an embankment.  The van then flipped and rolled.  Two people in the van were ejected.  A total of three people were airlifted to the hospital and others were taken by ambulance.
