A hit and run accident on Wednesday night in Pinehurst has caused injuries to a family of four.
The wreck happened around 8:15 p.m. when a small white car hit a car carrying members of the Ellis family and then fled the scene. Four members of the Ellis family, Donald, Shannon, Amber and Josh, were injured.
