Another terrible wreck involving a car turning into the path of a motorcycle has caused the death of the motorcyclist.
The wreck, which happened near Rennert, North Carolina on Wednesday, resulted in the death of 31 year old Jamie Oxendine. Mr. Oxendine, who was from Shannon, North Carolina, was riding his dirt bike near his house when a car turned into his path.
Mr. Oxendine was not wearing a helmet and was riding his dirt bike on a state road in violation of state law. However, that does not excuse the driver for driving into the dirt bike riders path. While no charges have been filed, it would certainly seem that the driver of the automobile was at fault for this terrible wreck.
