Hit and run accidents are very scary for the victim.  Not only is the victim hurt, but often times the victim may not receive medical care as quickly as he should because the driver has fled the scene and no one has called emergency personnel.  Fortunately, here it appears the victim will be OK.  The victim in this case may still have a legal claim that can pursued under North Carolina law even though the driver is not identified.  If you have been injured in a hit and run accident and have questions about your rights, please call or email Hendren and Malone immediately.
