Two People Seriously Injured After One Car Wreck In Carteret County, North Carolina

A terrible one car wreck in Carteret County has resulted in two seriously injured people.

According to reports, the wreck happened around 4:00 am on Thursday near Brandywine Bay.  Apparently driver Marlana Hirsch ran off the road and struck a ditch, overturned several times and hit a utility pole. 

A passenger, Steven Marsch, was seriously injured as was Ms. Hirsch. According to reports, alcohol and speed may have been factors.
