A two vehicle in Jacksonville, North Carolina involving a taxi has resulted in one death.
The crash apparently happened at the intersection of Western Boulevard and Carolina Forest Boulevard. As a result of the wreck, passenger Rachel Pate was killed.
The taxi driver, Elwood McCoy, has been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and unsafe movement violation.
This was obviously a terrible wreck and the Pate family has our deepest sympathies.
