Cape Carteret Wreck Results in One Death

A terrible wreck on Highway 58 near Cape Carteret on Friday resulted in one death.

The wreck apparently happened when a Jacksonville man, Joshua Dodd, pulled in front of another car.  Tragically, a passenger in Mr. Dodd’s car, Hannah Smith, died after the crash.

As a result of the wreck, Mr. Dodd may be charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
