Woman Hit By Logging Truck in Jones County

Based on reports from ENCToday.com, a Virginia woman was rear-ended by a logging truck on Highway 17 in Jones County on Friday afternoon. 

Rita Bland of Blackstone Virginia was sitting in traffic near Pollocksville, NC when her SUV was struck from behind.  Ms. Bland was taken to Craven Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.  Apparently, the driver of the logging truck came around a turn and did not have time to stop before hitting Ms. Bland.
