Wilmington Jogger Dies After Being Hit By Car

A terrible wreck in Wilmington has claimed the life of a jogger who had apparently just moved to the Wilmington area.

The wreck apparently happened at Gordon and North College Road when an SUV ran a red light and hit the jogger.  The jogger was Georg Anderl and he had just moved to North Carolina from Iowa.  The driver has been charged with misdemeanor death by motor vehicle.
