A terrible wreck this past Friday night on US 701 near Tabor City, North Carolina has claimed one life and injured several others.  The wreck apparently happened when a GMC pickup truck crossed the center line and hit a pickup truck driven by Brederick Scott of Suffolk, Virginia.  Unfortunately, Mr. Scott did not survive the wreck.

The driver of the GMC truck was pulled from his vehicle by some passers-by just before it was engufled by flames.   A motorcylist, Michael Adams, narrowly avoided running into the back of the GMC pick-up and Mr. Adams had to lay down his motorcycle.  He was taken to the hospital with injuries.
