In a sad situation, a man who was taken to the Wilson Medical Center for a psychocological exam on Wednesday apparently walked away from the hospital only to hit by a car later that evening.
After leaving the hospital, the man was hit while walking on N.C. Highway 42. He has since been taken to Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville where he is in critical condition.
