Durham Riverside Student Hit By Passing Car at School Bus Stop

Apparently driver Carlos Bethea passed a school bus that was stopped to pick up students and hit one of the students.  The student, who attends Riverside High School, was treated at the scene.  Mr. Bethea was charged with passing a stopped school bus.  Click here for more.

It’s hard to imagine a driver passing a stopped school bus.  Hopefully, Mr. Bethea will not be “let off easy” for this one as the seriousness of his actions cannot be overstated.
