Tractor Trailer Driver Falls Asleep Causing Serious Wreck on I-40

A terrible wreck happened on I-40 near Morganton when a tractor trailer driver apparently fell asleep while driving his rig.  The driver, Eric Sloan of Michigan, has been charged with reckless driving and driving his rig beyond the allotted hours.  According to reports he plowed through 400 feet of guardrail and caused 10 wrecks.  Two victims were hospitalized.  For more, click here.
