Tractor Trailer With Failed Brakes Hits School Bus in Wake Forest

In what must have been a very scary wreck, a tractor trailer hit a school activity bus in Wake Forest after the tractor trailers brakes apparently failed.  Seven middle school students from Bunn Middle School were taken to WakeMed as a precaution.  For more, click here.

Thankfully, this incident did not turn out worse.  A fully loaded tractor trailer may weigh as much as 80,000 pounds and is a lethal weapon when its brakes fail.
