High Speed Wreck on Emerald Isle Causes Serious Injuries and One Death

Over the weekend, a terrible wreck on the Emerald Isle high-rise bridge has caused the death of a Marine and serious injuries to another driver.  Apparently, the Marine, Vincente Gomez, was traveling at a high rate of speed and attempted to pass a vehicle on the bridge.  While executing the pass, Mr. Gomez’s vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Stephen Menard of Wilmington.  Sgt. Gomez was killed.  Mr. Menard suffered serious injuries as did a passenger in his vehicle Michael Stanley.  Click here for more.
