Fuquay-Varina Student Dies Following Accident Near School

In a very sad and tragic incident, a student at Fuquay-Varina High School has died from injuries sustained when he was hit while walking near the school.  For more, click here.  According to reports, the wreck happened in front of the school where, shockingly, there was no crosswalk.  The student, Jorge Chavarria, was 18 years old.
