While golf cart accidents may seem unusual, they are not as over 13,000 people are hospitalized each year with injuires from golf carts. North Carolina law does not allow golf carts on state roads, but does give towns and counties jurisdiction over where and how they allow the carts to be used.
As reported recently, two boys were seriously injured when a golf cart went under a parked truck.
